Hi! I’m the local behind Space Coast Sidekick.

I’ve called Brevard County home since I was 14, when my dad moved our family here for a job at Kennedy Space Center during the Space Shuttle program. We came for the space program, and the Space Coast has been home ever since.

I’ve spent most of my adult life working beachside in the service and hospitality industry, meeting visitors from all over the world and answering plenty of questions about what to see, where to go, and how to make the most of their time here. I even spent some time as a crew member at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, giving me an inside appreciation for one of the biggest reasons people come to our little corner of Florida.

How Space Coast Sidekick Started

The idea actually began from behind the bar.

I was serving drinks to a couple who were planning a visit to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. As we talked, they asked if I would be willing to give them a personalized “highlights tour”—helping them figure out what was most worth seeing so they could make the most of their limited time and the money they'd spent on their visit.

And it clicked.

After years of visitors asking me “What should we do?” “Where should we go?” “What's actually worth it?” I realized that helping people experience the Space Coast wasn't just something I happened to do at work. I genuinely enjoyed it.

I love this area myself. Give me a paddleboard and some water and I'm happy—but I especially love taking my kids out into nature and finding experiences that are fun, educational, and memorable. Those are the kinds of days they remember.

Space Coast Sidekick grew from that idea: What if there were one local resource that helped people cut through all the options and discover the experiences that actually fit them?

Not a travel agency. Not someone trying to book your vacation for you.

Just a local Sidekick helping you discover the beaches, wildlife, space history, attractions, hidden gems, local favorites and experiences that make this place home.
